Some of our environmentally friendly and safe solutions include:

Natural Pyrethrum - Pestigas®
Traditionally pest control treatments involve regular hand spraying of pesticide or insecticide in target areas. Many insecticides have long been associated to leave lasting residues often toxic and hazardous to human health.
Pestigas® contains Pyrethrum which is extracted from the Pyrethrum daisy flower. Pyrethrums are known to attack the nervous system of insects and have low toxicity to mammals, making it suitable for application inside kitchens and catering areas. Pyrethrum also contains a number of related compounds which offer a wide spectrum of attack against insect species.
Applied as a high pressure dry spray, this unique formula allows the diffusion of Pyrethrum into the hardest to reach cracks and crevices.
Pyrethrum is biodegradable and will decompose when exposed under UV light.

- Food processing and storage warehouses
- Domestic and commercial premises
- Kitchens and Laundries of Hotels, restaurants and hospitals

Sentricon II Termite Monitoring Stations
Traditional methods of termite protection have involved installing chemical barriers around the property. These barrier chemicals are designed to deter termites from entry into the house or structure. The challenge with chemical barriers is that they deteriorate over time and if not replenished every 3-5 years result in gaps appearing in the barrier that may be found by termites, thus rendering it useless. Chemical barriers also do not get to the source of the problem - the nest. The problem termite colony remains and continues to pose a threat to your property.
Added to this, chemical barriers do not provide the opportunity for ongoing monitoring and pose a potential threat to your family. pets and the environment.
How does it work?
- Stations are installed strategically and discreetly around the external perimeter of the house or structure. Usually this is every 3 metres.
- The random and continuous foraging of termites allows them to find and therefore be detected in the stations.
- The stations are monitored for termite activity on a regular basis. Usually every 3 months.
- Once termite are detected in the stations, the monitoring device is removed and replaced with Sentricon Termite Bait.
- Termites feed aggressively on the bait which contains an active ingredient that inhibits the ability of the termites to moult.
- This inability to moult results in death. Because of the social structure and behaviour patterns of termites, the bait is easily transferred to the rest of the colony.
- Once infected, it is only a matter of time before the colony is eliminated.
Benefits
- It is safe for your family, pets and the environment.
- The monitoring stations themselves contain no chemicals.
- All product is removed once the termites are eliminated.
- There is no drilling, spraying or disruption to your home.
- There is no spraying of potentially hazardous and persistent chemicals.
- It eliminates the termite colony completely unlike chemical barriers that only repel the localized activity.
- The stations are designed to be discreet.
- Provides security and peace of mind.
- It is scientifically proven and commercially tried and tested.
